Diplôme de Français des Affaires 1er degré (DFA 1)
The Diplôme de Français des Affaires 1er degré (DFA 1) was established by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and serves as proof of good knowledge of spoken and business French. Examinees must be able to understand newspaper articles on general socio-economic issues, to translate from their native language into French, to correspond in French and to handle forms and documents.
The certificate can be taken in various locations throughout the world, such as French cultural institutes, Alliance Française institutes, private or public universities and schools, language centres and education centres.
