Certificato di Conoscenza della Lingua Italiana 2 (CELI 2)
The Certification Unit of the Università per Stranieri di Perugia has developed The CELI examination system, which tests the knowledge of learners of Italian as a foreign language.
Structure
- Reading; understanding and matching, fill in the blanks, multiple-choice fill in the blanks, three-option multiple-choice
- Writing; producing short written texts such as letters, postcards and messages; filling documents
- Listening; true/false questions, three-option multiple-choice, matching
- Speaking; everyday communicative situations, describing and commenting on a visual prompt (photograph, cartoon, etc.)
Results
Each component is equally weighted and is given 25% of the total marks. There are three pass grades: A, B and C.
