Certificazione della Lingua Professionale– CLIDA P3
The Language Certificates CLIDA P3, established by the Centro Linguistico Italiano Dante Alighieri di Firenze in 1996 on behalf of the Austrian Ministry of Education, evaluates Italian language skills as a foreign language. The exams were developed for non-native speakers, students and non-students, to identify their level of language. CLIDA P3 is designed for professionals who need a certificate for their Italian language ability for their professional life. In Austria, it is possible also for learners outside the educational system to sit for this exam.
The results of the exam are recognized by the Ministry to be a successful measure of a comprehensive knowledge of the Italian language. Passing the exam shows that the participant is able to communicate in an Italian environment and in a business field and with these acquired language abilities the participant is able to work in an international company and field. Professionals with this certificate are not only proficient in the Italian language but are also able to use Italian in many different contexts and situations. The exam is available in three different levels.

Structure
Written Exam:
- Comprehension
- Reading
- Report
Listening Comprehension:
- Comprehension 1 - Notes
- Comprehension 2 - Fax
- Comprehension 3 - SMS Message
Oral Exam:
- Report in Italian
- Report in German or English
- Conversation between examiner and participant
Results
The results of the written and oral exam will be announced to the professors or to the participants within 6 weeks. The exam is passed with at least 18 out of 30 points.
The final score is out of thirty possible points, accordingly to the Italian system.
After passing the exam the participants receive an appropriate certificate and a written confirmation in Italian and German.
