For Executives and Managers
HRTP EU
The HRTP EU programme is targeted at managers who have a major role in defining and implementing their company's policies in relation to Japan, who are to be transferred to Japan, or who wish to be kept informed about management practices in Japan.
Who qualifies?
The applicants must:
- be nationals of an EU member state
- work for an organisation or subsidiary that is at least 50% EU or Japanese-owned
- be presented by their employer and be able to participate in the entire programme
- have a reasonable command of English
- be a manager of an industrial company with a minimum of five to 10 years experience in industry

GATEWAY TO JAPAN
The programme focuses on EU export sectors that are considered to have a high potential in Japan. The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises, interested in co-operation in Japan (participation in seminars, business travels and exhibitions).

MANUFACTORING-TECHNOLOGY-FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME (MTFP) JAPAN
The MTFP gives European and international engineers a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with their Japanese counterparts in Japanese companies and gain a deeper understanding of Japanese manufacturing technology.
The programme provides young engineers with seven to 12 months of Japanese training in areas such as manufacturing, technological development and research and development (R&D).
